Story of Two Jack Fruits

Dear Shyama,

You can get an entry in Guinness book of records just now! Yes! I have preserved all proves to show to the concerned that 2-jack fruits have traveled all the way from BHUVANESWAR to CHENNAI, not once but twice to reach the mother of a soul who loved her parents so dearly that she would go to any extent to prove it!

Yes! To day the funny parcel was delivered to us which were once returned for the incorrect address, much to the amusement of not only the courier man but also our security guard! They were very curious to know about the contents not only for its peculiar 3-dimensional size but for the inexplicable mystery that surrounded with its smell!

Both of them were arguing whether it was a medical content that was broken inside or some peculiar fish product of ORISSA shore. We had to drive them off from the gate as both of them wanted to satisfy their genuine curiosity.

We prepared ourselves to open the parcel with the necessary weapons of knife, scissor, oil, paper etc. after doubly assuring that the gates were closed. Had a bit of argument about how to start the process. Naturally AMMA prevailed over me to do that doctor style operation!

After opening and seeing those 2 pieces I can describe about the colors of them with one maintaining its virginity to 60% and other one gave enough hints that once upon a time it was merrily hanging over a tree in a remote forest of ORISSA! Unfortunately I lack the ability to describe the smell as I couldn’t make comparison to any of the known smell of any fruit, flower, and leaf even in its advanced state of decomposition.

After half work done in extracting the consumable portion AMMA cried off and I continued the process with lot of optimism. Yes! I was successful in extricating those pieces to be consumed remembering the affection of yours, for we-old parents. I am not going to describe the process of washing my hand which we did to nearest possible cleanliness of its original status.
